Now that classes are back in session, it’s been great to see the flurry of activity happening on the BEST Portal this week.

The biggest spikes in activity occur when classes are run using the Slice image bank. Students are using the Slice annotation tool to mark features on images as guided by their teachers. These annotations then serve as study notes and are shareable with both friends and teachers.

This month alone we’ve registered over 600 students for access to Slice. If you’d like to run a class using Slice, send us an email at support@best.edu.au to get your students enrolled and for tips on making the transition to using virtual slides and other images on Slice in your class.
